This test was conducted July 18, 2002 by Goodrich Aerospace at its Hurricane Mesa Test Track, a military testing center in Hurricane, Utah.

The goal of the crash test was to achieve a minimum speed of 80 mph and impact a Crown-Victoria Police Interceptor with 14 gallons of gas in the tank, with the vehicle in park and the flashers on.
