Officer Jason Schechterle recalled in a matter-of-fact voice the night in March 2001 that forever altered his life. A taxicab rear-ended his Ford Crown Victoria police car, causing an explosion and fire. He has now become one of the strongest advocates for the redesign of the Ford Crown Victoria that serves so many of our law enforcement officers today.
